RESEARCH DIVISION

Our research engages with local, regional, national and global grand challenges and pressing environmental, urban and social issues such as climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, health, coastal dynamics, land use changes, smart cities, risk regulation, water, human migration, sustainable development, resource management, remote sensing and GIS application for environmental management. DADO undertakes field research across Bangladesh. Our professional research staffs is outward-looking and entrepreneurial, seeking to understand the social and environmental challenges in different areas and people of Bangladesh are facing and demonstrating how we can make a difference. Our research professionals have received training and advanced education from universities in North America, United Kingdom, Australia and Asia-Pacific region. In the past we have worked with NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, sub-district, district, ministries of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and universities across the world. We are always keen in working on collaborative research projects through participation of universities/instructions across the world.

EDUCAITON AND DEVLEOPEMNT IMPLEMENTATION

DADO collaborates with governments, NGOs, INGOs, and donor agencies to implement initiatives in climate change adaptation, disaster risk management, public health emergencies, and other development priorities. DADO organizes seminar, conference, webinar and workshops on regular basis. Our professionals have frequently been contacted to comment ongoing environmental and social challenges covered by local, regional and national news and print media. DADO also organise sports, cultural and other co-curricular activities for disadvantaged people living in high disaster risk areas. We always attempt to stand with disaster victims as quick manner as possible. Our intern made their career positions in NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, city planning, Civil Services, Cadet Colleges, corporate industries, universities at home and abroad.
